Hi everyone! I will be traveling soon to the Phoenix, Arizona and Minneapolis, Minnesota areas. I would love your suggestions for if I were to only go to 1 or 2 shops while there, which is a MUST SEE? Also would love to hear your favorites or even the ones to avoid in other states too and why, maybe it is their great prices or enormous and unique fabric selections, details, details, details pretty please. :-) Thanks sooooo much in advance for taking your time to answer this for me. Big hugs from the Smilie Mommy :-)

If you are in the Minneapolis area, there are several great shops to visit! E-mail me privately at stitchinglegacy (a) gmail (dot) com and based on where you will be in MPLS, I can suggest shops to visit. :-)

I replied on the blog, but realized I did it in the wrong place. Learning something new every day...haha :p Thanks again for the email. Looks like we have 2 votes for Blue Bamboo now :-)
DeleteThanks sooooooooooooo much Sandi for taking the time to respond to my post! I just got finished sending you an email. Next I will run to Twitter and start following you there as well :-)
ReplyDeleteI have to all time favorite shops in the twin cities area, Blue Bamboo and Eagle Creek Quilt Shop. I hope that you enjoy your visit! Have fun!!!
ReplyDeleteCindy, thank for responding to my blog post. You are vote #2 for Blue Bamboo. I would say that is a pretty good sign I should head over to that quilt shop for sure :-) Happen to have connections in the Phoenix area who would be able to recommend also? Thanks again :-)
DeleteIn Phoenix, visit 35th Ave Sew & Vac (35th & Northern), 3 Dudes, Quiltz, Quilted Apple, Bernina Connection, Mulqueens (Phoenix Store)
ReplyDeleteBetsy, first of all thanks soooo much for the response! And if I had to narrow it down to 2 or possibly 3, which are your favs out of that list? Thanks in advance :-)
DeleteI would say 35th Ave, because it is the largest independent quilt store in Arizona and then Quiltz and 3 Dudes.
ReplyDeleteThanks a bunch Quilteddogs, are you also Betsy? :-) I truly appreciate your suggestions. 35th will be a definite I will be able to get lost in for some time it sounds like....getting giddy thinking about it :D
ReplyDeleteYes, it's Betsy. Be prepared to be overwhelmed when you step into 35th's doors. It's not the most beautiful shop but I don't think you will notice that when you see all the rows and rows of fabrics and other sewing/quilting items.
ReplyDeleteOh I think I will be in heaven and could get lost in it for quite some time it seems like. Weeeeeeeeeeeeee, believe me, I love my hubby but he would hate to be there with me...LoL! Luckily, I will be solo going into it, so no reason to rush :D
